Eficef 200Tablet is a combination of cefpodoxime and clavulanic acid. It is used to treat bacterial infections affecting your lungs, nose, throat, ears, skin and urinary tract. This medicine is also used in treating sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhoea.
Eficef 200 Tablet is an uncoated dispersible tablet composed of cefixime 200mg.
Indications:
Uncomplicated urinary tract infection, Pharyngitis, Tonsilitis, Otitis media, Acute execration of chronic bronchitis, Uncomplicated gonorrhoea, Typhoid fever
Dosage:
Adult and children more than 50kg or older than 12 years : 400mg once daily or 200mg twice daily
Children (6 months and older): 8mg/kg/day once daily or in 2 equally divided doses (4mg/kg/day twice daily)
